Dear Minister Prof. Leos Heger,MD,PhD,
Austria is still a developing country in tobacco control because of the unhealthy influence of the tobacco industry. However, we are able to say that one country in Central Europe is even more retarded: the Czech Republic, being forced by the international tobacco cartell to refuse the FCTC, which had been ratified by all other members of the EU and by 168 states world-wide.
The reputation of Austria suffered allready by the suspicion of corruptness, but even more politicians bought by the tobacco industry seem to live in our Northern neighbor country, which has been compared to Serbia and called the ash-tray of Europe.
Don't you think, that the Czech people deserved a different government?
Sincerely,
Prof. M. Neuberger, MD

Korrektur 2018:
